Project: Farmhouse – demolition with volumetric and energy expansion
Place: Caorle (VE) – Italy
Description: Building demolition with volumetric and energy expansion of a manor house with barchessa and winter garden. The building intervention aims to safeguard and enhance the surrounding environment as the building is inserted in a context of particular scenic beauty subjected to environmental protection. The design choice of the new housing construction is aimed at minimizing any visual impact on the landscape. The design concept therefore consists of re-proposing pre-existing stylistic-architectural elements and typological and material-chromatic styles of traditional rural architecture. The arrangement of the greenery is conceptually characterized by a vegetation of native essences left to chance in order to harmoniously blend the garden with the surrounding landscape.
